One of the Hidden Creeks and Waterways of Australia

Forster Keys, NSW – a suburb of the twin town Forster-Tuncurry, NSW is nestled on the banks of Piper Creek. The creek runs into part of the labyrinth of Wallis Lake.

You are sure to find a sheltered wakeboarding sport here

Sandy shores, well-kept boat ramps, and delightful tree-lined parkland make this an adorable mid week place to put your boat in and ride forever along the many miles of wind protected glassy water.

From here you can explore the Cooloongalook River, Wallamba River, Piper Creek, Piper Bay and find sheltered water between Wallis Island and Big Island.

Before heading out you may want to visit the Waterways Office (located on Little Street near the Tourist Information Centre) and pick up a marine map of the area.

Be mindful of the many signs indicating wakeboarding/water skiing locations and restricted wakeboarding areas.

How to Get There

Following the main road south through Forster, turn right into King George Parade then right into Elizabeth Parade to find the boat ramp at Forster Keys.
