Bangkok weather, as anyone who travels in Thailand will almost certainly tell you, can get extremely hot at the best of times. But then some like it hot, so they say.
What to Wear in Bangkok
Firstly, there is little need to wear a lot of clothes and secondly, although everyone has different preferences, It’s best to travel as light as possible. During the day shorts, sandals, skirts, tank tops, and T-shirts are the way to go. And don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen.
Climate of Thailand
Thailand is situated way up in the tropics and South East Asia is my preferred destination of choice. Best of all, Thailand doesn’t appear to have a winter so to speak of, at all. I like to follow the sun when traveling. Don’t you think warm weather gives you a fresh sense of freedom as well as allowing you to move around much easier? Also, people, in general, seem a lot happier when the sun is out Okay, so maybe I’m speaking for myself here.
Apart from the intense heat in Bangkok, you are also subject to some extremely high levels of humidity, especially from April through and into July. It only gets a little cooler during the rest of the year.
Should you get a little hot under the collar, while winding your way around the city, then there are loads of some rather swanky department stores and high fashion shopping malls to cool you down as well a ton of coffee shops and restaurants to escape all the intense heat out there and then some.
Most if not all, are air-conditioned. This will provide some comfort until you feel the energy to continue your journey. If matters not what time of the year that you are here as it appears to be hot all year round.
The reason why Tourists come to Bangkok
Certainly not for the extreme heat conditions, traffic congestion or the pollution I should imagine. Could one of the reasons be to get away from cold countries! Well I suppose, there could be a lot of other reasons too but Bangkok is such a fascinating city to visit. And why not! I shan’t mention them all here because I would love you to visit my other pages to find out more about this exciting city. No, you don’t have to read them all now. You can come back later if you like.
